Every room at Futurity has been refurbished from the ground up — I’ve sweated the details that actually matter when you're away from home. Orthopaedic mattresses. Real climate control, warm in winter and cool in summer. A smart TV for lazy evenings, a mini fridge for the milk (or the wine), and your own free parking space outside.

1 Maddy’s Favourite
A nod to the heart of New Quay, just down the hill. The perfect base for dolphin-spotters. My most sought-after-room, calm, light-filled, and positioned to make the most of New Quay’s coastal outlook. A proper king-sized orthopaedic bed, air conditioning for warm summer nights, and everything you need for a few days of doing very little.

Named after the feeling, not a place. Maddy's Escape is a calm, comfortable double room with a private shower ensuite — ideal for couples who've come to properly switch off. Everything you need, nothing you don't. The most accessible price point at Futurity, without compromising on a single detail.

3 Maddy’s Room
Named after the boss. My flagship dog-friendly room. The largest of the three rooms, with a double and two singles — ideal for families or those travelling with older children. Ground floor with direct access to the enclosed garden, making it the natural choice for guests bringing a dog. Step straight outside at any hour without disturbing a soul.

Some B&Bs treat the extras as extras. I’ve built Futurity around them - because the difference between a good stay and a great one is usually the small stuff.
Breakfast, on your terms
I know that part of a proper break is not having to be somewhere at a set time. That's why breakfast at Futurity is self-serve and available any time of day or night — whenever you're ready for it.
Help yourself to a selection of coffees (including Italian, caramel, and double chocolate, plus a caffeine-free option), Yorkshire tea, individual cereal boxes, porridge pots, yoghurts, fresh seasonal fruit, cheese, and chilled fruit juice. Bread is fresh daily, sourced locally where possible, in both white and brown.
Bottled water is replenished in your room every day, so you're never without.
Dietary needs: Gluten-free bread can be arranged with a minimum of 7 days' notice — just let me know when you book.
I love a seasonal touch too — keep an eye out for limited edition flavours throughout the year.

Everything close, nothing complicated
One of the quiet luxuries of staying at Futurity is how easy the practical things are.
A fish and chip shop, pizza, a general store and an ATM sit directly across the road, so the forgotten pint of milk or the lazy-night takeaway is never more than thirty seconds away.
Breakfast is included every morning, and for everything after that you're spoilt for choice — takeaways across the road, New Quay's pubs and restaurants a wander down the hill, and Aberaeron's dining scene just fifteen minutes up the coast.
The harbour, the beaches and the dolphins are all within walking distance, and when you've had your fill, your own parking space and a quiet, comfortable room are waiting.
Booking & B&B policies.
Check-in & check-out
Check-in from 2pm — check-out by 11.30am. No need to wait at the door; your room is accessed via a dedicated key safe mounted outside. I'll send your personal code directly to your phone by 10am on the day of arrival.
Arriving before 2pm? You're welcome to park at Futurity if there's space, or leave your bags in our secure storage shed at the rear — clearly signed and easy to find. Please note that luggage left prior to check-in is stored at your own risk.
Deposit & payment
A 20% deposit is required to confirm your booking. The balance isn't due until after you've arrived and you're happy that everything is to your liking — because that's the way it should be. If anything isn't right, I'll be on hand to sort it.
Payment methods will be confirmed with you at the time of booking.
Cancellation policy
I understand that plans sometimes change. If you need to cancel, you'll receive a full refund provided you let me know at least 7 days before your arrival date.
Children
Children of all ages are welcome at Futurity. If you need a travel cot, just let me know at least 30 days before your arrival and I'll have one ready for you.
Minimum stay
To make the most of what New Quay has to offer, I ask for a minimum stay of 3 nights during July and August, and 2 nights during May, June, September, October and the winter months.
Dogs
One dog stays completely free in any of my three rooms. Dogs are welcome in bedrooms and the enclosed garden — just keep them on leads in all shared indoor spaces.
Travelling with more than one dog? Just give me a call or WhatsApp before you book and I'll do my best to make it work.
Smoking
Futurity is non-smoking indoors. Smokers are welcome to use the designated area at the rear of the south-facing garden, or the area at the front near the car park — ash trays are provided at both.
Vaping is permitted in bedrooms and the garden, but please not in shared indoor spaces such as the kitchen, dining area or TV lounge.
Group & special bookings
Thinking of booking all three rooms for a family gathering or special trip? I'd love to hear from you — group bookings are considered and discounts may be available depending on the time of year and length of stay.

Single occupancy
Travelling solo? Single occupancy rates are available during the winter months, or for stays of 5 nights or more — ideal for anyone working remotely or walking the coast path at their own pace.

Opening
Futurity is open all year round, though there may be the occasional week of closure. Keep an eye on the website for advance notice of any planned closures.
